Carl J. Orfuss, M.D.

Neurology

Carl J. Orfuss, M.D. is a Board Certified Neurologist and has practiced at the UCLA Neurological Clinic since 1976 as well as maintaining a private practice. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland and served his Internship and Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami Florida. In 1968 to 1969, Dr. Orfuss was an assistant physician in Internal Medicine for the United States Congress in Washington D.C. Since 2009 he has been a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology in the UCLA Department of Neurology. He has licensure in the states of California and Georgia.

Dr. Orfuss experience includes being a Director of Subacute Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Programs, a Co-Director of a Stroke Rehabilitation Program and a member of the Brian Injury Rehabilitation Program at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital. He has provided forensic testimony for over thirty-three years on a variety of Neurological issues including but not limited to stroke, traumatic injuries, spinal cord, peripheral nerve injuries and Multiple Sclerosis.
